This was a month long project where, as stated above, I drew something every day. I’m grateful for the time spent doing it, but the expectation that you can create something you’re proud of every day is unrealistic. Day 25 was the day I hit the wall. ‘Puzzlebox’ was the prompt and I just had nothing. I tried many ideas and just couldn’t see it through. So I wrote the word puzzle in a box and then vented about how I was frustrated in the post on Instagram. The interesting thing was the amount of support I got for being honest about my frustration. Rather than doing nothing I posted about it and people rallied and supported me. It felt good.
