Amazon Music ITunes Store refresh

While working with Amazon Music, they had just gone through a major rebrand, new typeface, colors, and new screen designs for their app. I was tasked with updating the images on the Apple App store to make sure that the images in the store reflected the new screen designs.

While refreshing the designs that lived on the app store was important, the crucial update was more for the stakeholders internally. Depending on which of the screens they wanted to highlight, it was important to make the designs easily interchangeable. Within Figma, I was able to create a drop-down feature so whomever managed this project later on could instantly swap the “Home” screen design for the “Now Playing” screen design without having to drag components from artboard to artboard. This gave the stakeholders more autonomy on their end and reduced friction between teams making simple adjustments that they could now do on their own.

I also created two different backgrounds and layouts. One with more dynamic overlaying devices with solid backgrounds and one with the devices straight but with gradient backgrounds. The background layers were something that could just be switched on and off, but the plan was to turn those into a drop down feature as well.
